| I recommend parallel over serial for one single benefit; cylinders 4 and 6 have tended (and quite common at that) to go lean due to fuel starvation on HIGH horsepower Z's with high fuel demands. This phenominom causes cylinders 4 and 6 to be the usual suspects when detonation due to a lean condition to destroy a pistons ring land. By feeding the two banks of the engine evenly, you garuantee even fuel dispersion, which will ultimately yield greater head room for tuning more power or safety.
